Lincoln MemorialISO 200, f/4.5, 1/40 sec, Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XSi, EF28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM

For work I was in Washington DC at the beginning of June. I had wanted to get some HDR photos of the Lincoln Memorial, but I wanted to travel light so I only brought a single lens and no tripod. When I got to the memorial, I realized it was a good thing I hadn't brought a tripod. The place was a complete zoo, and I don't think tripods were allowed anyways. I tried to get a good photo of Lincoln, but with so many people around and flashes going off constantly, it was hard to get 'the shot'.

So, instead, I took one of my decent shops and brought it into CS5 and did some monochrome HDR work on it. I hope you like the result. I personally think it almost looks like a charcoal painting.
