I know I haven't posted much lately, but I've been doing a lot of things behind the scenes to make posting and maintaing the site easier on myself. In the past it would take me at least 20 minutes to post a single entry, and that didn't include the time I spent organizing and retouching my photos. The 20 minutes was spent resizing, uploading, captioning, etc. I've now automated things a bit to cut this time down to almost nothing, which should make things easier on me.

Another change I've made is that I will no longer be hosting the photos you see directly on this site. I'm now hosting all of the photos over at SmugMug. This will allow for easier uploads on my side, but also allow people to buy my photos if they want. I've not really had many requests for this (only 1, actually), but I figured it'd try it for a year. Why not?

SmugMug will also let me automatically upload and will resize images on the fly, which is something Flickr wouldn't do for me. The automatic resizing will also allow me to post links for iPad and iPhone wallpapers, which I know some people have used my photos for. This should make it easier on everyone, including myself.
